Drawing & Painting

Our Drawing & Painting courses offer high school students the opportunity to learn different techniques and materials related to drawing and painting. Students also explore different styles including comics, portraiture, en plein air, and others. Students will build a portfolio and sketchbook that showcases their process, experimentation, and finished work.

Student work can be submitted for publication in the Alameda Art Journal as well as state and local shows.
